A poignant project from one of our art students addressing the everyday lives of homeless people in Ashton.
Quote from the student:
“My art project is ‘everyday people’. In this project I
focused on homeless people and how people dehumanise homeless people and
discard them every day, not acknowledging them while walking past. As I was taking my primary source photos, I give
the homeless people prepared food packages in exchange for a photo and a talk
about their life as a homeless person.”

As both AS and A2 students are drawing to the end of the first unit of work for this year we are clearing out the storerooms to make way for the big hand in deadline. If there are any of last year's A2 students out there who have yet to collect their artwork, please do so before the end of January because we simply do not have the space to store it. If you would like to collect your work please make an appointment with Dan in the art department on 0161 330 2330 or at DPR@asfc.ac.uk.
