Hannah Parker
I am a recent graduate of
Aberystwyth University, where I specialised in painting. I paint in oils using
a thick, impasto style and find documentation fascinating; particularly of
society, it's people, and their eccentricities.
My most recent body of work involved inviting sitters into the studio to paint
from life. Through these figure paintings I explored the experience of a
sitting, where my work was not so much a documentation of the sitter, but a
documentation of me painting them.
