A group of Art students just returned from a College trip to Auschwitz and are keen to express their experiences through the medium of Art. The trip was organised in conjunction with the Lessons From
Auschwitz programme run by the Holocaust Educational Trust and links with the
students’ Personal Investigation unit of their A2 studies.
"Visiting such a significant place in history was really overwhelming. Walking the same pathways as the victims and seeing there most treasured belongings was beyond moving and the day was absolutely amazing. It's one of those things that you cant imagine until you're there because you can't predict how you will react. It was a brilliant experience." - Jessica Massey - Fine Art Student at Ashton Sixth Form College.
